Rob VandeWeghe earned a master’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the Technical University of Delft, the Netherlands (1982, with honors) and studied business economics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands (1985, comparable to a bachelor degree).
He worked more than 15 years for a multinational information technology consulting organization, which he helped from from a local company with 300 employees (1983) to an international organization with offices in 30 countries and more than 20,000 employees (1999). He was responsible for various multinational projects and businesses in Europe, North and South America and Australia. He retired from his position as VP for the North American Consulting Division in 1999.
Since, he has felt compelled to research and study the evidences for the Christian faith. Finding these truths convicted him to commit his life to Christ. The drive to share these evidences with others triggered the founding of Windmill Ministries. In this ministry, Rob and his wife Jacoba want to encourage and equip Christians by building and reinforcing the foundation of truth on which one’s beliefs are grounded.
Rob, Jacoba, and their family have lived on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in the northwest corner of Washington State since 1997.
